This is the COPE distribution.

COPE_0.061.tgz and Exception-0.97_01B.tgz are the latest versions
by Giles Atkinson.

COPE-cvs-*.tar.gz files are snapshots from CVS. Please check the file dates
to determine which is newer, or better: follow the mailinglist.

COPE is also available through anonymous cvs. Instructions for read-only
anonymous access:

 cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.lunatech.com:/home/cvscope/repo login
 
Just type return at the password prompt.
 
 cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.lunatech.com:/home/cvscope/repo checkout COPE
 
After that, you can keep up-to-date by going into the COPE directory
that's been created and typing
 
 cvs -z3 update -Pd
 
People who have patches pending can get an account with write access. Please 
coordinate on the cope mailinglist before starting large-scale hacking
sessions on the code.
